Christmas Caroling

One interesting Christmas tradition is Christmas caroling. People go from house to house singing Christmas carols. Oftentimes, young people from church groups or other organizations go to homes for the elderly, or other similar institutions, and sing Christmas carols to spread some holiday cheer.

to go Christmas caroling = o ato de sair para cantar serenatas de natal de casa em casa

Christmas carols = hinos e canções de natal
young people = jovens
homes for the elderly = azilos
spread some holiday cheer = uma frase comum para esta época que significa mais ou menos "espelhar a alegria das Festas"

Now it's your turn to write a little bit about Christmas carols. Is it common in your country?

Yeah, that's the best part I think too! It's really awesome! I go out in the street and start hugging my neighbors and friends! And we wish one another Merry Christmas!
I like this season
